RE: Scholarship Application

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to submit my application for a scholarship in semester 2019-2020. I want to take AB in Political
Science, because I see it more interesting and this is where my passion lies. I love studying law-related things, the
constitution and other legal form of documents, after this I am planning to pursue my dream to enter law school to
become lawyer someday. As I am part of HLAF (Humanitarian Legal Assistance Foundation) program way back
2016-2017 as a volunteer youth leader who advocates and fight for the rights of the children and youth. I want to
help HLAF for I gathered experience in my college years as an effective speaker and influencer to the variety of
youth associations. One of my biggest most-appreciated experiences was being the main speaker in
CAMANAVA Leaders’ Conference that was held at Penthouse in Malabon City Hall. The attendees are set of
officers from different colleges and universities in Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela. I also awarded as
the researcher of the year for my thesis work way back 2017, it was given by our Academic Affair President Dr.
Zosima L. Basco PhD. together with my Technical Writing Professor Ms. Ellen Frias. I want to be part of your
researcher team and work with them harmoniously.

I am currently dealing with financial difficulties, and am unable to pay my fees for the semester. I am writing
thesis, dissertation and interpreting data using statistical method to obtain a part-time home work in order to
finance my studies, but it will likely not be enough to cover the tuition and accommodation fee together with my
monthly allowances in addition to my normal life expenses. I am requesting a student scholarship so that I would
be able to carry on with my studies while I work to better my circumstances.
