I am writing in regards to the current opening in your district. I graduated from Lennox High
School in 2019, and I will be a graduate of South Dakota State this May. I will have my
bachelors degree in Education and Human Sciences. My major is Early Childhood Education
with certification in Early Childhood Education from South Dakota State University and
Elementary Education from Dakota State University. I will also have a minor in Human
Development and Family Studies. I believe that I would be a great candidate for this position as
I have 5+ years of experience in ECE.

During my time at South Dakota State University I have taken many courses that have allowed
me to observe various facilities and gain more experience in the profession of education.
Courses such as Early Experience allowed for me to spend time in the Childrens Museum of
South Dakota studying the way children were playing with and interacting with materials. I was
also able to study relationships between different types of families, look at the roles of
administration and supervision of ECE settings, and I have also taken many courses to learn
more skills within multiple elementary subjects. Lastly, my most recent courses have allowed me
to spend time in a 7th grade science classroom, a 5th grade Social Studies classroom, and my
current plancement is student teaching in a kindergarten classroom at Legacy Elementary.

In addition to this letter, you will find my current resume, my completed application, and
reference letters. I believe that I will be a great fit for this position. I see the importance of
