My philosophy in classroom programs aspires to meet the needs of all children. Students benefit from a teacher who is genuine and committed to motivating each individual to become a better student and person. Some of my favorite teaching experiences are seeing that eureka moment all teachers long to see.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to apply for a teaching position within your school district. I am a graduate of Alma College with a major in Elementary Education and minors in Mathematics and Integrated Science. I am working to complete the requirements for my Michigan Elementary Provisional Certification. I am excited to enter the workforce and make an impression on the young lives of students. My philosophy in classroom programs aspires to meet the needs of all children and allow the students to grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Students benefit from a teacher who is genuine and committed to motivating each individual to become a better student and person. I hope to develop this through advancing students critical thinking skills and freely using their unique talents. My teaching experiences include student teaching at Waldron Elementary in Fowler, Michigan. I had the responsibility of teaching fourth-grade science and social studies, fifth and seventhgrade literature, and seventh-grade social studies. I was able to begin molding my identity as a teacher. I realized that forming relationships and communicating with my students is a major asset in becoming a successful educator. Throughout college, I also had the opportunity to observe and assist in third, fourth, fifth, and seventh-grade classrooms as part of my field placements. Some of my favorite teaching experiences are seeing that eureka moment all teachers long to see. In addition to my education coursework, I have been blessed to assist and coach local kids on basketball and football teams. My patience, organization, and communication skills have all been further developed as a correlation of the many hours of time and dedication spent with young boys and girls. It has been a pleasure of mine working with kids on a daily basis by giving them every opportunity to achieve dreams that they have entertained in their minds since they were young children. Attached is my resume and details of my coursework. I am eager to have an opportunity to meet with your interview committee and principal to further discuss my qualifications. Thank you very much for your time and consideration of my application. Sincerely
