    Statement of the Problem

    This study aims to explore the reading habits of the digital natives and to determine its
    effect on the Academic Performance for school year 2019-2020. This study specifically will answer
    the following questions:

    1. What is the demographic profile of the digital natives in terms of:


    a. Age
    b. Gender
    c. Reading materials available at home
    d. Gadgets available at home
    2. What is the level of reading habits of the digital natives?
    3. What is the level of the academic performance of the digital natives when grouped
    according to their demographic profile?
    4. Is there a significant relationship between the demographic profile, level of reading habits
    and level of academic performance of the digital natives?
