1. What is your group’s mission and strategy?

Mission:

Survive for as long as we can by any means.

Instead of limiting ourselves with only 5 things to bring “within” the boat, we decided to tie the
rope to a fishing net which will carry the additional and necessary items we need for survival.

We first locate and scout the island by using the compass and confirm whether the rumor is true.
If the rumor is true, scare the inhabitants with the use of the pistol and flare gun and be in control
of the situation. If the rumor is not true, proceed with settling on the island and prepare the
essentials of surviving in the wild such as: food, water, fire, and shelter.
2. What are the elements in the external environment that you need to consider in planning your
survival strategy?

Weather/Climate – we have to take note of the weather or the incoming season, in order
to have an idea of what to expect soon and have the necessary preparation for it.
Food and Shelter – look for source of food and fresh water, look for a good area to settle
and build shelter.
Location – take note of what our surroundings look like and be familiar with it always.
Rescue – think of ways for rescuers to see you immediately.
Safety – be cautious about the safety of everyone and always be on the look out for
danger.
Manpower – distribute tasks evenly with regards to every person’s strengths.

3. Describe the specific processes that you must perform and the outputs that you must produce
in order to survive your predicament.
