China Study Tour Itinerary

Overview of the Program
This is a week-long intensive overseas study module to be conducted jointly with our institutional partner, Xiamen
University. The program will expose our students to China’s rapidly changing Commercial landscape, its status on the
world market and its growth potential into the next century. China is a major trading nation of Australia. This program will
focus on areas of Business and Economics that’s pertinent to China's continuing economic development and its bilateral
trade relationships between Australia and China.

• Chinese Economy
• Chinese Negotiation
• From the Macro to the Micro: Modern Chinese History and Contemporary Xiamen
• Topic on Cross Straits Economic Relations between Mainland China and Taiwan
• Labour Economics and China’s Growth Prospects
• Regional Integration China and ASEAN and Australia
• Market Entry Strategies

Main Host: Xiamen University, China
Date: 5th July to 12th July 2015.
Student Number: 15-20 students
Course: 3 credit unit. Elective II/III or Commerce Level II/III
Cost: $3500 Includes return airfare, accommodation, local transport,
and some sight seeing
Application Deadline: 26th April 2015

Important Information

Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee you a place on the tour.
Students will need to be available for an interview and a pre-departure
briefing session. You will need to cover additional expenses, such as food
and beverages, some local transport, and clothing. Please note that
Adelaide University tuition costs still apply.
