Abstract

We introduce a new system for sports events. Sports Hub is a social media
application. The main idea of the project is to organize the sports events.
Person can organize event and others can participate in the event. This
application will provide the information regarding a sports event and will
provide all the necessary details of the event. The system will provide the
serving activity in quick and easy manner.

Introduction

These days sports club and local sports event uses paper work for
maintaining records.We introduce a new system through which a user can
see Live Score, Organize an Event, Participate in Event. Once the participant
participate in an event, so he can chat with all the participants of that event
in a group chat. The participant can also give a review to others participant.
The participant can also organize an event and all the other participants
which were played in previous event can participate in that event. The
administrative panel will be used by admin whose job will be to Create an
Event and can also Cancel an Event.

Problem Statement
The system used in Sports Club and Local Sports Event is totally manual. We
will discuss some of the drawbacks of the current system.

Paper Work
The complexity of Paper work increases as the data increases. Paper work is
also not environment friendly.

Remembering
Due to complexity of data it’s difficult to remember the status of every
match.
Management of Records
It’s become very difficult to manage the records after the match or even
during the match.

Search Difficulty
When a participant want to search record of any event, so it is very tedious
task to do.

Problem Solution for Proposed System


Today it’s the era of technology. From a well-educated person to fruit selling
person is using smartphone and well aware of its use. If we go back not more
than 10 years, the smartphone users were almost negligible in our country.
Our system of organizing events online rather than manually.

User and Their Basic Functionalities


1. User
 User will first sign up. After successful sign up the user can get access to main
page. The user can join an Event.
2. Event Creator
 User can create an event. Event creator will provide the updates of event which
he/she created.
3. Participants
 User can participate in the any of given categories of events.
Invasion games, Net/wall/racket games, Fielding/striking games.
4. Feedback
 Participant can also give feedback about a certain event played.

Advantages/Benefits of Proposed System

■ We designed the system with following criteria in mind:

– Full System Automation: It doesn’t required manual work.


– Platform: Our system supports Android application.

Scope
 Sports Hub is a social media application. That includes

■ User can first sign up then he/she can sign in. User Account Management will
provide user account modification.

 Sports Events Management will provide management of three different sport


categories like Invasion games, Net/wall/racket games, Fielding/striking games.

 User can send friend request the other user either accept or reject the request.
And they can also unfriend and block.

 When event is created ,the participants can chat in group or in private message.

 Event Manager will updated the score.


 Results and Match Analysis Reporting.

Modules
■ Module 1: User Accounts Management Module
This Module will get user information using for sign up , after successful sign up, user can visit
login page and enter their credential then user will have access to main dashboard. User can also
update their profile.

■ Module 2: Sporting Event Management Module


Authentic user can create an event with specific categories of Invasion games, Net/wall/racket
games, Fielding/striking games. Once the event is created other user can join.

o Invasion games (Football And Hockey)


o Net/wall/racket games (Tennis And Badminton)
o Fielding/striking games (Cricket)

■ Module 3: Friends List Management Module


User can send friend request targeted user either accept or reject ,user can see all friends and
user can also unfriend or block specific friend.

■ Module 4: Groups Management and Chatting Module


User can create group ,user can add and remove members from the group ,all members of
group can chat, and group member can also chat privately with specific member of the group.

■ Module 5: Live Score Module


An event creator will update the status of the event , and this status will shows on main
dashboard to those who participate in this event on priority basis , and user can also see the
ongoing events status by visiting Live Score of All ongoing events. Results of all events will be
kept.

System Limitations/Constraints
This project will only manage local sports events.

Software Process Methodology


We use object-oriented methodology because in the object-oriented methodology, the main focus
is on the modules that combines process and data together. The aim of object-oriented
methodology is to make improvements in the quality of the software and productivity. During
analysis object-oriented methodologies are used that fill gap between solutions and problems.
These are some reasons behind this methodology.

Data Gathering Approach


We visited different Sports club and Local Sports Houses and meet different people
and they give us requirements and also give us some suggestion about our project.
We arise questions according to requirements given to us to clear up the
requirements.
Concepts
Object-Oriented Programming:
We use object-oriented methodology because in the object-oriented methodology, the main focus
is on the modules that combines process and data together. The aim of object-oriented
methodology is to make improvements in the quality of the software and productivity. During
analysis object-oriented methodologies are used that fill gap between solutions and problems.

Android Programming:
In this era of technology android has major market place and it’s required by the manager
administration (works) .

Database:
It is use as a data storage all the complaint and employee’s data are store in the database.

Conclusion

The technologies we will use are paid and open source. This product will
overcome the manual process workload. On successful completion of this
project the resultant product gives solution of real world problem. A user-
friendly application will be developed due to which social interaction among
people will be increase.
