SET-UP FOR THE FLAG OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

1. Upon placing the Korean flag on the pole, the red should be on top and blue should be on
the bottom. As seen on the picture below.

2. Once the flag is secured on the pole, it should be folded into a diamond shape and facing the
audience. The red side should be on the right, while the blue side should be on the left. Also,
the three long lines (☰ geon 건 / 乾) are meant to be at the top of the flag, while the six
short lines are at the bottom (☷ gon 곤 / 坤). As seen on the picture below.

3. The flag should be placed on the right side of the stage, facing the audience while the
Philippine flag is on the left. The podium may be placed at a comfortable length from the
Korean flag on the right of the stage.
