TIPS TO CREATE RECYCLED POETRY

The poem doesn’t have to make sense grammatically, what matters


most is how well your readers get the message, thanks to your
ingenuity!!

TOOLS YOU NEED

A magazine and/or a newspaper in English, a pair of scissors, glue,


coloured pencils, highlighters, rubber, pencil and sharpener.

STEPS

1. Search words which have a meaning for you. They will help
you to write a poem.

2. Cut the words up, one word or several words together.

3. Create rhyming words.

4. Be descriptive, express emotions, feelings, thoughts…

5. Glue the pieces of paper with the words on a coloured paper.

6. Add some visual support to embellish the poem.
