An input device / output device
• is any peripheral or piece of hardware attached to a computer.
• It is a device connected to and controlled by a microprocessor,
but not necessarily a part of the basic computer system.

 Keyboard:
Is a way to input letters or numbers into
the different applications or programs.

 Mouse:
A mouse functions as a pointing device by
detecting two-dimensional motion relative
to its supporting surface.
Used to translate the motion of your hands
into signals that the computer can use.

 Monitor:
Is a visual display device to present output
information in the form of text, graphics,
or video on the screen.

 Printer:
It is designed to print letters,
numbers, symbols or anything
you typed in the keyboard. It can
also produce pictures and images.

 Modem:
It is use to connect to the Internet. The
Internet provides the user information
about various subjects such as business,
education, science and technology, arts,
current events, weather and many
others.

 Scanner:
This is a peripheral that reads
or inputs artwork, photograph
or any piece of document and
stores it as file.

 Speaker:
The speaker serves the computer
user in two ways. One is for
utilitarian, such as to allow a user to
watch movies or listen to music on
the computer. Another is to make
computers more fun and less
frightening.

It allows you to develop
your pictures in the
comfort of your home
just by attaching it to
your computer.

Graphics tablet is a type of

positions on a flat surface.

hardware is necessary to
provide touch screen
capabilities.
