Defining technology, it is a manner of accomplishing task especially using technical

processes, methods, or knowledge. People in the modern era became dependent on technology
and they are really enjoying the benefits of the power of those technologies. But before we
benefit to those innovations, these things came from a small stuff until they progress into a
larger and reliable one as the time goes by. Imagine if you are time warped in an older year
using a technology in the modern time, you can see so much difference on the technology
before and now. As the time goes by, the reliability of technology increases making people’s life
and work easier and making them more dependent on machines and every year, another piece
of technology has been developed depending on purposes. Various technologies has been
developed for the human use such as cars, computers, electronic phones, appliances, etc.
These things makes human life simple and it gives less effort for them. The intent of this paper
is to know the difference of the technologies in the old generation and the modern generation
as well as the technologies they have in his / her generation by the use of interview method.

So before conducting the interview, I looked for a people to interview, an old person to
be exact to gain additional information for my prior knowledge about the technology before and
now. Here are the information gathered during the interview:

 Interviewer: “Anong ginagamit niyo dati kapag gusto niyo malaman ang balita?”
Respondent: “Ginagamit pa namin ‘yung radyo na may cassette.”
 I: Paano kayo nagluluto noong panahon niyo?
 R: “Noong wala pang kalan, sa pugon kami nagluluto ng mga pagkain. Sa
palayok pa nakalagay yung mga niluluto naming kasi wala pang kaldero noon.”
 I:
“Sa pagpaplantsa, ‘yung de uling pa gamit namin.”
 “’yung TV namin may cabinet na karugtong na cabinet na maliit.”
 “Gumagamit kami ng gasera nung panahong wala pang kuryente.”
