Glory to God

Our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy

name
Praise be to Lord God the father, Lord Jesus
Christ, Lord God Holy Spirit.
Lord you are worthy to be praised and worshiped
I bow before you and submit myself and thank
you for your loving kindness and grace
Let me be decreased and God be increased
I thank you Lord
Hallelujah

My dear friend; I would like to start with a proverb or a worldly saying:

“Laugh, and the world laughs with you;

Weep, and you weep alone.”
- Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Sometimes it seems to be true
The world wants to enjoy itself and love for one another is seemingly
decreased as God prophesised
In our modern day where the world has become so small that can be
shrunk into our palms we think we have more friends or well-wishers
more than any of our ancestors
But we all know this is imaginary and cannot be guaranteed
We may have millions of followers or fans in the social media or even
in our real world but we would still feel isolated or distanced from
others
There is another saying it says;
“When you are in trouble you will know who the real friends are”

But I would like to introduce you a good and best friend who will
never leave your tears unanswered and will never leave you deserted

“His name is Jesus, the name above

all names”

Once a mother whose daughter was terribly sick with demon

possession came to Jesus
‘Master’, she said; ‘my daughter is possessed by demon please deliver
her’
But Jesus did not answer her
She kept on begging Him and cried to Jesus
His disciples said master send her away because she is not leaving us
You could have thought how kind the disciples were to that woman
when Jesus did not answer her they were so much caring
But wat a minute
They actually wanted Jesus to send her away but not to give her any
miracle because she was a gentile
On the other hand Jesus was silent but He never casted her away
HE never silenced her
HE never chased her away
But instead He was waiting to know whether she trusts Him or not
When Jesus said I cannot give the children’s food to dogs
She replied true master but the puppies will be fed by the crumbles fell
from the children’s table.
Jesus said your faith has healed your daughter go in peace

Matthew: 15:22-28

Behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried
unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my
daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought
him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us.
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the
house of Israel.
Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
But he answered and said, it is not meet to take the children's bread,
and to cast it to dogs.
And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall
from their masters' table.
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith:
be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole
from that very hour.

My dear friend when that mother cried to Jesus He was not able to
move from that place nor was He able to cast her away

Illustration 2:
And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the
breaking of the day.
And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the
hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint,
as he wrestled with him.
And he said, let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let
thee go, except thou bless me.
And he said unto him, what is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as
a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
Genesis: 32:24-28

When Jacob was afraid of his brother he went to pray to God

throughout the night
Bible tells us that he fought with God and God Himself told Jacob you
have fought with man and with God yet to have won
Many of us think that Jacob wrestled with God physically

But in Hosea the prophet tells us that Jacob fought with God with tears
Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made
supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spoke
with us;
Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his memorial. Hosea: 12:4

Yes Jacob cried to God pleaded for His help

IF you read the verses in genesis it says God told Him please leave me
the sun is coming I have to go
Which means God was not able to leave that place because Jacob was
crying and praying to Him
Only after blessing Jacob and renamed him as Israel was God able to
move from that place

Illustration 3:

When Jesus was resurrected by God the Father on the 3rd day from
crucification, early morning Mary Magdalene went to see the tomb of
Jesus because she was ignorant about the resurrection of Jesus Christ
When she found that the body of Jesus was not there she started to cry
and then 2 angels came to her and told her the good news of the
resurrection of Jesus
But Mary Magdalene did not understand any of the words spoken by
the angels
So, Jesus Himself came to her and said
Mary why are you crying?
Whom are you searching for?
She was telling her problem but Jesus revealed himself to her
Then she tried to touch Jesus as an act of amazement but do you know
what Jesus said Mary Do not touch me I have not gone to my father yet
Jesus cannot go to the Father even after the greatest miracle on earth
has taken place because of the tears of a poor woman

But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept,
she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the
other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto
them, because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not where
they have laid him.
And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus
standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
9

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? Whom seekest thou?
She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou
have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will
take him away.
Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him,
Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my
Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my
Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

My friends Bible teaches humanity the love of God

It reveals the characteristics of the God whom we serve

Our God cannot leave your tears unnoticed

He cannot say I am busy
He has collected your tears in a bottle which means none of the drops
will go unanswered

Record my misery; list my tears on your

scroll— are they not in your record?

Psalm: 56:8

Sometimes I have heard people say when someone is crying never tell
don’t cry just leave them alone because they will get worsen

You are tears may not be valuable for

the world, but it is counted valuable by
the Heavenly Father who created you
11

My friend our God says today

“Then you will call, and the LORD will answer;

you will cry for help, and he will say:

Here am I.”

Isaiah: 58:9
12

Our Inference
My dear friends after reading the 3 illustrations I believe you would have known
the love of God

Only crying at prayer time do not bring you answers from God
As you read the 3 illustrations you should understand that they humbled
themselves before God and cried for his help
They were trusting God for a miracle at the same time they humbled before Him
and said we are not worthy to receive this miracle but by your love and grace we
bow to your feet and seek your help
Once my friend asked me why do you Christians always cry while you are
praying.
The answer is:
 Our God is a prayer answering God
 He cares for us
 When we humble ourselves He hears us
 When we cry He cannot leave us
 He values our tears more than any other human being
 He will save us
