PRAYER PETITIONS FOR CHRISTIAN LIFE PROGRAM (CLP)

Heavenly Father, we pray for the on-going Christian Life Program of Cavite
North Sector A Chapter 4 here at Immaculate Conception Chapel. We ask for
the Holy Spirit to bless, guide and protect this undertaking.
Prayer for Adoration
Lord God, we exalt and praise Your most Holy Name. We glorify and honor
You. We adore and love You for You are the Most High, the Lord of lords, the
King of kings and the Almighty One.
Prayer of Contrition
Lord God, we confess our sins. We know we sinned against You. Search our
minds, hearts and spirits for the sins we have done against You. Forgive us
our sins, wrong doings, negative thoughts and all things that have offended
You. Forgive us for our lack of faith in You, for our laziness, for our selfishness
and for our love for material things that hindered us to show our love to our
neighbors, to our brothers and sisters. Father God, cleanse our hearts and
minds with You Holy Spirit. Cleanse us with the most precious blood of Your
Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer for Cleansing
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, by the power of
the Holy Spirit, we pray that the cleansing power of the precious blood of Your
Son Jesus come upon us right now. Purify us ad wash us. Cleanse us with the
blood of Jesus from the top of our head down to the very sole of our feet. Let
this blood penetrate up to the very marrow of our bones to cleanse us from
any entanglement, from whatever spirits we come in contact with during the
course of our intercession. Anoint us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and
refresh our body, soul and spirit. And may the sign of Your Holy Cross drive
away all the evils from us.
Prayer of Thanksgiving
Lord God, we thank you for calling each one of us, for the opportunity to serve
and be with you, for the gift of life, love, protection guidance and
enlightenment, for many blessings and graces that you have showered our
community and families and most especially for giving us your Son, Jesus
Christ as our Savior and Redeemer.
Prayer to Take Authority
In the Name of Jesus, we take authority and we bind all power and forces in
the air, in the ground, in the water, in the underground, in the netherworld, in
nature and in fire. You are the Lord over the entire universe and we give you
the glory for your creation. In Your Name we bind demonic forces that have
come against us our families and we seal all of us in the protection of your
Precious Blood that shed for us on the cross. Mary, our Mother, with the
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we seek your protection and intercession for us and
our families and surround us with your mantle of love to discourage the
enemy. St. Michael, the Archangel, and our Guardian, come and defend us
and our families in battle against all the evil ones that roam above the earth. In
the name of Jesus, we bind and command all the powers and forces of evil
depart right now away from us, our homes and our land. We thank you, Lord
Jesus for you are faithful and compassionate God. Amen

THE JOYFUL MYSTERIES (Monday & Saturday)
1ST Joyful Mystery: The Annunciation
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee,
named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of
the house of David; and the virgins name was Mary. And the angel came in
unto her, and said: “Hail, for you have highly favored, the Lord is with you:
blessed are you among women”. And when she saw Him, she was troubled at
His saying, cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the
angel said to her: “Do not be afraid, Mary: for you have found favor with God.
And, behold, you shall conceived in your womb, and give birth to a son, and
shall call His name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the
Highest.” And Mary said: ”Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done to me
according to your word”. And the angel departed from her. (Luke 1:26-38)
Oh Mary with Your: “yes” You have opened heaven’s ways, You have
achieved the will of the Father. You will be blessed forever: Your intercession
is heard in Heaven, because You have accepted God’s plan. Let us pray that
we can say “yes” to the Father in every instance He ask it of us. Mary help us
to be humble and obedient to God’s will.
PRAYER
We lift up to You, O Lord, the service team. We ask that You guide them and
strengthen them so that they may serve you according to Your will. Keep them
focused and undistracted. We ask You to protect them from any obstacles that
the evil might place in their way. Protect their health and well-being as well as
their families and loved ones and all the properties you entrusted to their care.
Allow them Lord to serve You in this CLP ably and faithfully. In Jesus’ name,
we ask. Amen.

2nd Joyful Mystery: The Visitation of Virgin Mary to her Cousin Elizabeth
Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city
of Juda. And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elizabeth. And
it came to pass, that, when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the baby
leaped in her womb; “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit
of your womb”. …And Mary said: “My soul do magnify the Lord, and my spirit
have rejoiced in God my savior. For he have regarded the low estate of His
handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me
blessed. For he that is mighty have done to me great things; and holy is His
name”… (Luke 1:39-49)
Mary goes to visit Elizabeth: She carries God to Her cousin, for the love of Her
brothers and neighbors. Lord, help us to carry Christ to others, like Mary did.
Let us ask Mary the gift of burning charity.
PRAYER
We pray for the Discussion Leaders (Facilitators and Assistant Facilitators),
we ask that they may be guided and strengthened by the Holy Spirit in their
service. That the Holy Spirit gives them the heart of a servant, the humility and
love needed in the service they are called to do. May they share the joy they
found in welcoming Jesus in their lives like our mother Mary shared her joy of
having the Son of God in her womb to her cousin, Elizabeth. We ask for
special protection for them and their family so that they may be able to serve
unhindered.

3rd Joyful Mystery: The Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that
she should be delivered. And she brought forth her first born son, and
wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there
was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country
shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, so,
the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round
about them; and they were so afraid. And the angel said unto them: “Fear not:
behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For to
you are born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign to you; You shall find the baby wrapped in swaddling
clothes, lying in a manger”. (Luke 2:6-12)
Infant Jesus in the manger. Mary, Joseph and the shepherds adore Him. Let
us also adore Christ, the Son of God, in the silence of our soul and from the
depth of our heart. Let us ask Mary to make us love Jesus more, and the gift
of poverty of spirit.
PRAYER
We lift up to You, dear Father, the speakers. We ask for special protection for
them so that they may be able to prepare well for their talk and be able to
deliver them without trouble. We ask the Holy Spirit to guide them in their talk
so that everything will come out from their mouths are Your words of wisdom.
May they remain faithful to the talk outline like the abiding shepherds at the
manger and glorify the Lord in the talk rather than glorify themselves. May the
participants be truly convicted and enlightened by the talk and follow the
leading of the Holy Spirit with humility and acceptance. May the seed faith in
them reborn, grow and give joy in them. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

4th Joyful Mystery: The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple

And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were
accomplished, they brought Him to Jerusalem, to present Him to the Lord; And
to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, a pair
of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. And, behold, there was a man in
Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout,
waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon Him. When
His parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for Him after the custom of the
law, then he took Him up in His arms, and blessed God, and said: “Lord, now
let your servant die in peace, according to your word: For my eyes have seen
your salvation… A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people
Israel.” And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were
spoken of Him and Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother:
“Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a
sign which shall be spoken against; (Yes, a sword shall pierce through your
own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” (Luke
2:22-35).
We need to pay attention to the voice of God, to discern His call and accept
the mission He gave us. After the Simeon prophecy, Mary takes into Her Heart
the wound of sorrow, but in the silence She accepts the will of Her Father.
PRAYER
We also pray for the participants of this CLP, that they really heed their call.
We ask You, O Lord, that they too may be covered with the mantle of Your
protection as they go through the program and throughout their lives. We ask
the Holy Spirit to put in their hearts the perseverance to understand and live
up to the teachings of this program. May they be humble enough to accept
Your wisdom and be willing to live according to Your will. In Jesus name, we
pray. Amen.

5th Joyful Mystery: The Finding of Jesus in the Temple
Now His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover.
And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the
custom of the feast. And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the
child Jesus stay behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and His mother knew not of
it. But they, supposing Him to have been in the company, went a day’s
journey; and they sought Him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. And
when they do not found Him, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking
Him and it came to pass, that after three days they found Him in the temple,
sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them
questions. And all that heard Him were astonished at His understanding and
answers. And when they saw Him, they were amazed: and His mother said to
Him: “Son, why have you done this to us? behold, your father and I have been
frantic, searching for you”. And he said to them: “How is it that you look for
me? Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?” And they did not
understand what he spoke to them. And he returned with them, and came to
Nazareth, and was obedient to them: and His mother kept all these things in
her heart. (Luke 2:41-51)
PRAYER
Dear Lord, We lift up to You the venue, equipment, schedules, and physical
aspects of this program. We ask O Lord, that the Holy Spirit protect these
things so that the evil ones will not cause for these to malfunction and go
wrong in any way.
We lift up each one of us that we may really serve in this program according to
your will and not to forget to intercede for it during our prayer time. In Jesus’
name, we pray. Amen

THE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES (Wednesday & Sunday)

1ST First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection.

"But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking
the spices which they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away
from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body. While they
were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel;
and as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men
said to them, 'Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but
has risen"' (Luke 24:1-5).  

PRAYER
We lift up to You, O Lord, the service team. We ask that You guide them and
strengthen them so that they may serve you according to Your will. Keep them
focused and undistracted. We ask You to protect them from any obstacles that

tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each one of them. And they were
all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit
gave them utterance" (Acts 2:1-4).
PRAYER
