Today, Petrol is the most important source of energy that we are using.

Petrol is used in transportation

industry, production of electricity and in industrial world. It is an unrenewable energy with its pros and
cons. Petrol helps us in many ways, used as an energy source for production of electricity,
transportation and in industrial areas.

In transportation industry, without petrol and diesel we cannot imagine what can we do? In our day
today life transportation plays a very important role. If you want go from one place to another place, or
transport your goods to another place, vehicles makes it easy and fast. But it has its cons too, Pollution
and traffic.

The gas emitted from the vehicles makes our environment polluted. Because of global warming we are
facing lots natural disasters. On roads no need to say about traffics. The whole world is talking about
how to reduce the pollution.

By increasing petrol price, can we reduce the vehicles on the road? In other words, reduce pollution and
traffic? To me, no we cannot.

We traveled a long way ready, cannot go back now. Our economy is in many ways depends on
transportation industry. Just increasing petrol price won’t do any magic. Yes people might think twice
but it won’t stop them from using it.

The Government should make a proper and reliable mode of public transportation thus will help in the
reduction of vehicles. Whether for people or goods if we have an easy, fast and reliable public transport,
people may start to use it. This is will reduce the number of vehicles on the road thus the pollution and
the traffic.

Example transporting goods from one place to another by means of train is faster, easier compared to
road and reduce traffic on roads too. If we have reliable public transportation system, easy access to
them make the people to switch over to it instead of using own vehicle.

So the government must take proper steps to implement a good public transportation system with
low transportation cost will definitely make the people to use public transport, thus will reduce the
pollution and traffic to some extent.
