Comparing the Victorian values and the industrial revolution

The Victorian values and the industrial revolution started both in Great Britain. These two are
very different but there is a connection. I’ve started to think, and have done some research
but I couldn’t find something. I started to talk to my grandmother and she said: when the
industrial revolution started people were having less children. I began to think about what
she said and started to type…

Victorian Values:
the Victorian values are things that you do but it don’t have to be a law or
rule. The queen in that time (1837-1901) was queen Victoria. She lived her live
but everyone thought they need to be like her and/or look like her. For
example she had nine children so everyone thought they need to get many
kids as well.

Industrial Revolution:
the industrial revolution is a really important part in the history because
people started to make machines. The machines helped by making for
example cars or clothes. In a factory a lot of people worked on one dress or
one car. When the machines where invented, less people have to work. In
fact only one to control the machine. You don’t only save workers but also
a lot of time.

My meaning and comparing:

I think that Victorian values and the industrial revolution are different things, but I see a
connection between these two. The queen and the inhabitants get all many kids, but when
the industrial revolution started, a lot of people were fired and became unemployed. That’s
also the reason why the most people now have one, two or three kids. Because of the
machines the people were unnecessary and they all get less children. If you look to your own
family it’s noticeable that your grandparents mostly have a lot of brothers and sisters, but we
have mostly one or two brother(s)/sister(s).

In conclusion: I think that you can compare it and I see a connection between these two, but
it’s more a connection than a comparing. But it’s original and I think that no one has found
this connection.
