to tell the story of Jesus”

THE OFFERING OF SYMBOLS:
 Bible – You are saved by the gospel if you hold firmly to it – unless it was for
nothing that you believed. I passed on to you what I received, which is one of
the greatest importance; that Christ died for our sins as written in the
scriptures –
1 Corinthians 15: 2-3

 Cross – Then Jesus said to His disciples “If any of you want to come with me,
you must forget yourself, carry your cross and follow me. For if you want to save
your own life. You will lose it; but if you lose your life for my sake you will find it
– Matthew 16: 24-25

does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand and it
gives light to all who are in the house. –Matthew 14-15

Liturgist: Often times we declare to ourselves that doing Christ’s Mission so worthwhile and fruitful
enough in every manifestation of life-service. How does the revealing truth convince ourselves when

our being and in silence, let us deeply reflect the questions which only the self can measure.

SILENT MOMENT OF PRAYER: soft music is played

ASSURANCE OF GOD’S PARDON:
Minister: Repent then and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out, that time of refreshing
may come from the Lord. For it is with your heart that you believed and are justified and it’s with
your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

To the work, to the work there is labor for all, for the kingdom of darkness and error shall
fall. And the name of Jehovah exalted shall be in the loud swelling chorus “Salvation id
