IMPORTANT NOTICE
Preparation of Documents for MDCAT-2018
The admission process for MBBS/BDS programme in Government Medical/Dental
Institutions of the Punjab shall start in August, 2018, Insha Allah.

Prospective candidates are advised to prepare the following documents well in

advance to avoid any inconvenience at the time of submitting application for Medical &
Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) – 2018:
(i) Domicile Certificate;
(ii) Computerized National Identity Card or Computerized B-Form issued by
NADRA or Passport;
(iii) Certificate/result card of SSC (Matriculation) or equivalent;
(iv) Result card of HSSC Part I or Part II or equivalent;
(v) Latest color photograph in soft form (not more than 2 MB file).

Important Note:
1) Keeping in view the inconvenience being faced by the candidates, the
condition of Juvenile Identity Card/Smart Card for Children issued by
NADRA, has been withdrawn for candidates below 18 years of age. All
the candidates aspiring to appear in the MDCAT – 2018 will, however, be
required to present domicile of Punjab/Islamabad/Gilgit-Baltistan.
2) The photograph of the candidate must not be more than one month old.
It must be: Colour; Showing full face, with no hat, veil, helmet or
sunglasses, although you can wear everyday glasses; Original-that is
not digitally or optically altered (for example, it must not be
‘photoshopped’ or ‘touched-up’).

3) Please keep a scanned computer copy of all aforementioned original

documents.
