A high picking capacity, which does justice to the powerful
TUCANO, along with gentle handling of the cobs - the
8-row CONSPEED maize picker reliably fulfils high
expectations. The cone-shaped snapping rollers pull every
stalk, reliably pick the maize from the cob and only then
move the waste downwards at maximum speed.
Horizontal rotary blades smash the stalks to small pieces,
which will quickly rot.
Use the maximum work rate of the CONSPEED:

develop a cutterbar particularly designed for sunflowers –
the SUNSPEED perfectly fulfils them all:

A highly effective principle.
When the seed pans grasp the sunflowers the adjustable
sorting plate helps to push the sunflower concaves to the
front. At the same time the snapping roll prevents early
cutting. Therefore only the sunflower concaves reach the
specially developed reel, which is equipped with tines and
additional position adaptors made of rubber. The reel
moves the cut-off concaves to the intake auger; from
there they reach the feeder housing.

For all TUCANO models, a “SPECIAL CUT” straw chopper
is now available instead of the “STANDARD CUT” model.
The “SPECIAL CUT” has 30% more blades: 68 for five
straw walkers (430/330/320) and 80 for six straw walkers
(450/440/340). The flow-optimised housing ensures
that the straw is evenly conveyed, thus guaranteeing a

The hydrostatic ground drive on the TUCANO – means
no more changing of gears- Travel is conveniently con-
trolled via the lever. So much operating convenience
immediately has a positive effect on performance: quicker
reverse times and optimum ground speed to suit the ever-
changing crop conditions. Your choice of added power -
4-wheel drive. A simple touch of the button switches to
a hydraulic driven power system, which steers your
progress even in the most adverse of terrains. The all-
wheel drive is reliable and free of maintenance. You can
increase the environmental safety of your TUCANO by
using CLAAS hydraulic oil.

• Multifunction control lever, CEBIS and CLAAS TELEMATICS electronic information systems guarantee innovative and
convenient control.

• Relief: LASER PILOT, the automatic steering system, relieves the operator and therefore achieves a significantly higher
performance.

• The VARIO cutterbar, which measures up to 9.12 m, achieves up to 10 % higher output through optimised crop flow.

• AUTO CONTOUR II, the "cutterbar with a brain", automatically evens out bumpy surfaces lengthways as well as
crossways.

• Cutterbars and front attachments such as CONSPEED, SUNSPEED, RAKE UP, folding cutterbar or soybean cutterbar
