From the Art Science Museum, stroll across the


iconic helix bridge to Esplanade Mall. You’ll be able

Gardens by the Bay

One of the must visit places in Singapore is


definitely Gardens by the Bay! The Flower
Dome is a huge glasshouse where you’ll find
the most exotic species of flora. The Cloud
Forest is home to the world’s largest indoor
waterfall! As you make your way up to the top
of the waterfall, enjoy the cool mist that makes
you feel as if you’ve stepped into a real
mountainous region.

Don’t forget to pack a sweater as it can get


pretty chilly in the Cloud Forest.

Catch the sunset at the OCBC Skyway and


watch the supertrees light up against the

animals at the Singapore Zoo

How many of us can say that we’ve had breakfast


with a bunch of orangutans! Kickstart the morning
with breakfast at the Singapore Zoo where you’ll get
to dine in the presence of some very special guests.
Be greeted at the table by elephants, orangutans and
even snakes as they roam freely about.

Be sure to keep your cameras by your side because


you wouldn’t want to miss them strolling in hand in
hand with their keepers.

After which, head on into the award winning park


and get ready to get up close and personal with the
rest of the wild life. The Singapore Zoo is famous its
free open habitats where there are no cages for the
animals. Instead they roam around freely in open
enclosures and are separated from the public by
moats or wooden fences.

Feed a giraffe, catch the elephant show or just take


the tram around the park, stopping at each animal to
get a closer look! Don’t forget to head to the Fragile
Forest where small animals like Ring Tailed Lemurs
roam freely.

If you’re looking for a place to grab some lunch, head


over to Ah Meng’s Kitchen for a plate of the iconically
Singaporean dish, Chicken rice!

River Safari is definitely a place to check out. From
the friendly Canola the Manatee to the most bizarre

Jia! Cruise along the Amazon River on the Amazon
Quest and get ready to meet the amazing animals of
the Amazon Rainforest.

If you’ve ever wondered what the animals do


after dark, now is your chance to find out!
Visit the world’s first ever nocturnal wildlife
park, The Night Safari to take a peek at the
lives of these nocturnal creatures. Hop aboard
the tram and wander into the depths of the
night as you discover fun facts about these
nocturnal creatures and see them in action.

One of the most popular breakfast choices for


Singaporeans is Roti Prata, more commonly
known as fried Indian pancake. Head to Zam
Zam, one of Singapore’s oldest and most
authentic Muslim restaurants and fuel up!

If you’re looking for something savory, opt for the


meat filled Murtabak, also a fried pancake served
with a side of curry. Don’t forget to get your
hand pulled Teh Tarik (milk tea) to wash down
those pancakes.

The cityscape of Singapore is best viewed from


the top and there’s no better place for that than
the Marina Bay Sands Skypark. From over 200
metres above the ground, you can marvel at the
city’s most beautiful landmarks like Gardens by
the Park the Esplanade and so much more.
Come at sunset and you’ll even have yourself a
gradient sky backdrop.

2000-2015 : Enjoy the spectacle at
the Marina Bay Spectra Show

After which, head outside to catch Spectra, a


light and water show outside the Shoppes of
Marina Bay Sands. This outdoor light and water
show will take you on a whole new journey with
their beautiful symphonic music, lasers, jets and
visual projections.

2030 : Singapore Chilli Crab @ No Signboard Seafood

One must eat dish in Singapore in Chilli Crab and one of the best places to have it is at No
Signboard Seafood! If you’re wondering how the name came about, this restaurant
actually had only used a plain orange signboard and became popular through word of
mouth.

Some of the must orders include the White Pepper Crab, Garlic Steamed Bamboo Clams
and Mee Goreng.

attractions! This 37 metre tall part lion part
mermaid statue is the city’s most legendary
resident. Climb up to the top of the Merlion’s

spectacular views.

the Skyride & Luge

When in Sentosa, a ride on the Luge is a


must! This part go kart part toboggan ride
will have you racing down the hill with the
wind in your hair. Sentosa is the only place
in Asia you can ride this 3 wheel sled! To
get to the top, hop onto the Sentosa
Skyride, an open cabin chairlift that will
take you to the starting point of the track.
Sit back and enjoy the views of the city
skyline and the South China Sea before
you race down!

adrenaline at the Sentosa Bungy

The Sentosa Bungy is Singapore’s one and


only bungy site and nothing really seals the
deal of a great holiday like an unforgettable
experience. If jumping off a 47 metre high

Chicken Rice
If you ask any local what the national dish of
Singapore is, many of them would say it’s
Chicken Rice! Located at the famous Maxwell
Food Center, Tian Tian Chicken Rice was

The juicy tender pieces of steamed chicken with


a dash of soy sauce is best paired with some of

walk away with some freshly made kaya (
coconut jam) for you to make your own kaya
toast and reminisce Singapore breakfasts!
