Hotels

👉 * Our Hotel The best all round we could nd that was super central, a good price, with a
good rating. Easy to get to/from the airport, walkable to Malls and Kampong Glam, transport.

👉 * Marina Bay Sands Hotel Spoil yourself at this iconic hotel. Guests get access to the rooftop
in nity pool.

👉 * Alternative hotel Near our hotel so still good location for transport, rooftop swimming
pool, larger rooms than ours, nice hotel

👉 * Another alternative Really nice hotel with apartment vibes and a nice in nity pool, similar
area to our hotel again

Attractions (Combo Saving Tickets then Individual)

👉 * Explorer Pass 2 to 7 Attractions - This is what we used, where we saved a third over 7
attractions. You can buy less tickets if you don’t need as many. Best for spreading attractions out
as they are valid over 60 days to visit. A small number of the attractions need to be pre booked in
advance. Such as the Night Safari (3 days suggested, we booked the day before) and the Food Tour
(we booked it a week before but a couple of weeks to be safe). Once you have the pass it’s easy to
see which need to be pre booked and it’s either bookable via an email or online booking system.
Most do not require pre booking though.

👉 * Unlimited Explorer Pass - Best if you want to visit lots of attractions in a short space of time.
I’ve read some reviews for this where they say they saved 50% compared to buying single tickets.
But you would need to intend on visiting a bunch of attractions. Also includes Universal Studios
Singapore which the Explorer Pass does not. (See above for pre booking info)

👉 * Marina Bay Sands Hotel Observation Deck - Best for morning and early/mid afternoon as it’s
an open ticket time wise. Otherwise if you want to visit in the evening after 5pm, best to book
direct where you have to pick an hour slot you will be there. The site here says you can book after
5pm which it seems you can, but it’s easier just to book direct for this purpose. See below.

👉 Marina Bay Sands Hotel Observation Deck after 5pm - Best if you want to book a speci c
time slot after 5pm.

👉 Ce La Vi Skybar - Option if you would prefer to pay a cover charge of $30 SGD which is
redeemable against food and drink. This is less than just entry to the Deck. Gives you a seat and
sun cover which the deck doesn’t have. There is a dress code though (you can see it on the FAQ).

👉 * Gardens By the Bay Tickets - A range of di erent combo tickets.

👉 Gardens By the Bay Closure Dates - Upcoming dates the attractions are closed.

👉 * Michelin Food Tour - The 3.5 hour Michelin Food Hawker Tour we did around Chinatown,
all food and drinks included.

👉 * E Sim Discount - 5% discount for an unlimited data E Sim. We’ve been using E Sims for over 2
years. It lets you keep your primary sim installed (so you can still receive 2 step veri cation
messages, phone calls and iMessage) whilst having data come out of the secondary E Sim. We then
install the E Sim at the airport before leaving and once the plane has landed, we’re connected
immediately. Really convenient.

👉 * Universal Studios Singapore - Universal Studios Singapore. It’s a lot smaller than in Florida so I
completed everything I wanted in around 4 hours. And even went on a few things twice! I may do a
Universal Tips video, which if I do, it’ll be on our secondary YouTube channel - Carry On Monkey
so keep an eye out…

👉 * SEA Aquarium - The Aquarium. It opened 1 hour before Universal did and we were able to see
it all in 60 minutes so works out well. Could spend longer if you wanted though.

👉 * Bike Tour around Singapore - A good way to see and learn about the neighbourhoods

👉 * Big Bus Tour Singapore - A good way to see and learn about the neighbourhoods, but without
the peddling!
