SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES, use the following adjectives (noisy-clean-

compare a big city and a small town. Then which one is better to live. Why?
Give explanations and reasons. You can also use more adjectives if you need.
R/ Let's compare some aspects of living in two different cities, for example living in Bogota
is different from living in Ibagué, mainly because Bogota is bigger than Ibagué, much
noisier and dirtier, the transportation service is more expensive in Bogota, because The
route they take is longer. The most interesting thing about Ibagué is that everything is
closer.

R/ dan y Bailey visited “la cazuela” waterfall, a very beautiful and relaxing place.
They also visited the traditional socalos of guatape, then sailed through the
guatape dam, a very beautiful artificial lake
3. Which are the best activities they have recommended to do there? Why?
R/ the best activities to do in guatape are to navigate the dam, because it offers a
beautiful and very relaxing landscape, on the other hand it is good to know the
tradition of the socalos in guatape, there are figures of a great variety, ranging from
animals to figures with meanings, then it is fabulous to know the cascade la
cazuela, because it is a natural place in which we can cool off by taking a bath.
4. What are the most visited places or tourist attractions in your region?
R/ The most visited place in my city or region is the Combeima canyon, as it offers
a splendid natural landscape without leaving the city, where you can find a wide
variety of food and desserts.
5. What was the most incredible activity you have done on a trip? What did
you do?
R/ The most incredible activity that I have done on a trip was to climb the Piedra
del Peñol, located near Guatape, from there there is a wide view of the Guatape
dam.
6. Have you ever been a backpacker? What is your opinion about this
traveling style?
R/ I have never been a backpacker, this lifestyle requires a lot of courage and a
passion for traveling and seeing new places, as well as a great effort.
7. What is the most unknown food you have tried on a trip?
R/ I really don't remember, although I think that on the trips I've made I've always
eaten the usual.
8. What are the best things that have happened to you on a trip? Mention two
R/One of the best things that have happened to me on a trip was meeting people
from different regions of the country and getting to know a little more about their
culture. Another thing that I thought was good about a trip was having the chance
to get on a helicopter, is something incredible!

What to drink there the usual thing is to have a little beer while
you look at the beautiful landscape.

Transportation All kinds of transportation services pass through


this place, from private cars that offer the
transportation service to public service buses.

Language In this place it is common to see people from all


over, therefore you can find people who speak
different languages, but the usual thing is to find
people who speak Spanish

Currency There you can pay with the national currency,


the Colombian peso.

Tipping In Colombia it is not very traditional to tip, but if


you want to do it, people will appreciate it.
