 STEP 1 CONTENT REVIEW

After doing Exercise 11: UNDERSTANDING INFORMATION ABOUT ...a person’s

experience abroad”. Create a script of a short conversation in which you ask Hiromi
about his life experience in Canada, using some of the verbs in Exercise 3 and the
information in Exercise 11.

Hi Hiromi! we want to know how was your experience in Canada; To do this, we will
ask you a series of questions:

1. What impressed you the most when you arrived in Canada?

What impressed me the most about Canada was the culture, the super educated,
attentive and supportive people, I think I would not think twice to return to this
beautiful country.

2. What was the most exquisite or typical dish of Canada?

Tourtière is the typical Canadian Christmas dish. Living in Canada during the Christmas
and New Year's holidays allows you to enjoy this delicious typical food. Although due
to my conditions I have not had the opportunity to savor this delicious dish.

3. Would you like to undertake a trip to Canada again?

Of course, traveling to Canada for the first time was a dream come true that I would like
to repeat; If the opportunity arose again, I would like to travel with my family.

4. How did you feel when you had the first conversation with a Canadian?

At first I felt a little scared, I had never before had the opportunity to interact with
someone from another country with such a good command of English, but I think it was
a pleasant experience with a Colombian and a Canadian sharing their ideas and a very
nice affinity was achieved. for the different topics we deal with.

5. Name five aspects of Canada that caught your attention

• Canada is an open society

• Leaving shoes at the entrance of the house is nice

• How they greet each other

• It is quite common to dress comfy

• They are people concerned about the environment and healthy living

6. How did you find the university?

Well I have met few students at the university but every day is a new learning

R/ located in the department of Meta, and get on a canoe that will take you down
the Guayabero River to the Sierra de La Macarena National Natural Park, where
Caño Cristales is located.
2. Have you ever been there? If you have, describe your experience. If you haven’t,
would you like to visit it someday?
R/ No, but if I would like to meet him I have seen many beautiful landscapes of
that place.
3. What are three of the most enjoyable things to do in that place?
 Take very good photos for a good memory
 Consume the typical dish of the region la mamona
 Camping in the best tourist hotels

R/ Yes, the most interesting place was visiting the sea with my family,

R/ pirate adventure in playa Blanca is a A short trip on the open sea to
the unprotected cove of Playa Blanca gives you a bit of the open ocean
experience! But, once we reach the crystal clear waters of Playa Blanca,
the sea usually calms down again, allowing us to drop anchor and enjoy
an unforgettable day in the blue waters.
