1.3 create a script of a short conversation in which you ask Hiromi about his life

experience in Canada

John: Hi Hiromi, how was your life experience in Canada?

Hiromi: Oh yeah, it was great, these years in Canada taught me many things about its

culture.

John: What was the food like in Canada?

Hiromi: I didn’t really like it. I had to prepare the food myself.

John: What was the studio like there?

Hiromi: Well, it was really easy, they teach new learning methods.

John: I’m glad it was a good experience, Hiromi.

Hiromi: Yes, I liked it a lot, however I still have to get used to many more things, like for

example, waking up early, and still keep getting lost, their directions are very different.

John: Well Hiromi, it was good to see you, see you soon.

1. Did you spend much money on your last trip? Was it a fair amount?

Well, I spent very little money. Tickets, accommodation, and tourist plans had a

fair price.

2. What is the most unknown food you have tried on a trip?

The most unknown food I have tried is coconut rice, this is a typical meal in the

city of Cartagena.

3. What places have you missed visiting on your trip?

On my trip to Cartagena, I missed the tour to the castle of San Felipe de Barajas

because I did not get up early that day.

4. What was the most expensive place you visited in your city?

The most expensive place that I have visited in my city is the restaurant “the

watercolor,” is a very nice place located in the rural area of Palmira.

5. What are the best things that have happened to you on a trip? Mention two.

On the trip to Cartagena, I met the sea, and I rode for the first time on a boat.
