TRAVEL ITINERARY LA CHORRERA WATERFALL

Information Description

Introduction of It is a very attractive place, because it is surrounded by nature, clean

the place: air, animals and a lot of harmony, this place is located a few hours from
Bogota in the municipality of Choachi, Cundinamarca, as I said before,
we highlight this place for its nature and also Due to its magical
waterfall of 590 meters high, the climate in Choachí is mostly
temperate, but it has different thermal scales that oscillate between 16
and 18 degrees Celsius, the most popular activity in this place is the
practice of rappelling where you descend the 590 meters of this
waterfall.

day 1, 4-5 hours
We will arrive at Choachi and there we will have lunch at the mountain
restaurant, after here we will start our trek to Chiflón, this small
waterfall is beautiful, and we will pass behind it through the 40-meter
curtain of water. In this area you will find the photography bridge, the
Charco Natural, the Gruta del Señor de Los Milagros, a restaurant,
some craft booths, and food sales. and we will bathe in the waterfall to
refresh our walk, after this we will arrive at the natural place where
there are amacas there we will sleep, we will be able to listen to the
sound of the animals and the waterfall
Day 2. 4 5hrs
Food: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
We leave in the morning and have breakfast, after this we will
undertake the trip to the Chorrera waterfall. The place is simply
amazing and there are no words that can describe it. The walk, which
is not so easy, is a bit long (an hour and a half each way) but it is totally
worth it. here we arrive and have lunch the typical food of this place,
after lunch we will make torrentism where we will climb the waterfall
 and then we will descend it by rappelling. We will go to the place where
we will camp near the waterfall, where we will make a campfire and a
conservatory of this experience.

Likewise, every day we will have breakfast and then we will undertake
our last destination, the monkeys the cave the monkeys and up to the
Virgin of Guadalupe, we will do this tour by motorcycle taxi, monkey
cave is not the name that would do justice to the place. When you get
there, it's not what the name suggests. There are no monkeys, and it is
not a cave, it is rather a rock ceiling where stalagmite figures with
different shapes give their magic. In addition, it is a point where you
can get beautiful views of the park and also of Bogotá. we will take the
photos of the memory and we will undertake until the Virgin of
Guadalupe. This is an almost hidden place that very few people know
about, but on the way to La Chorrera there is a climb that leads to the
statue of the Virgin of Guadalupe and offers amazing views of the
entire city of Bogotá. It is something not to be missed and here we end
the tour, we will start the trip back to our homes.

Means of The means of transportation that we are going to use on the trip are
transportation bus, walk and motorcycle taxi.

Activities to do  walk, bathe in the waterfall, visit the waterfall the chiflon, take photos
on the bridge the photography, go to the natural pool, walk through the
grotto of the Lord of miracles, camp, sleep in an amaca, rappelling and
torrentism.

Places to stay: the places included for the trip are within the same park to camp and a
cabin with hammocks, but if tourists want to stay in a hotel, they can do
so at Hotel casa de campo la prosperidad and Escalera al Cielo Roto,
two of the best hotels there in this place

Typical Foods: The minced pork is the most requested dish, the minced pork consists
of pork ribs, pork rinds, stuffed, chorizo, yucca, potato, and arracacha
among others, pelao corn arepas and chiguano dough.
