1.3. Based on the information from exercise 3 Module 6

EXPRESSING SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES, use the following adjectives (noisy-
clean-expensive-dirty-crowed-polluted- large-old-quite-modern-interesting) to compare a
big city and a small town. Then which one is better to live. Why? Give explanations and
reasons. You can also use more adjectives if you need.
R/ Comparing a big city and a small town using the given adjectives, we can say that a big
city is usually more crowded, noisy, polluted, and expensive, while a small town tends to be
cleaner, quieter, and less expensive. However, a big city can also offer modern and
interesting experiences, while a small town may have an old-fashioned charm and a quieter
pace of life. In terms of which one is better to live in, it ultimately depends on personal
preferences and priorities. If someone enjoys a fast-paced lifestyle, access to a wide range of
entertainment options, and career opportunities, then a big city may be the better choice.
However, if someone values a quieter and more peaceful environment, a stronger sense of
community, and a lower cost of living, then a small town may be the better option.
