“TALKING ABOUT MY TOURIST DESTINATION”

1. Did you go sightseeing on your last trip? What was the most interesting place
you visited?
The most interesting place I have been to was the city of Guayaquil, in the country of
Ecuador. It is a charming city that presents a lot of history, culture and incredible places
that I was able to visit. I have traveled there 1 time, I loved the experience.
2. What is the most unknown food you have tried on a trip?
The most unknown food I have tasted on a trip has been a dish called Corviche, it is a
dough based on green plantain, peanuts and other spices that in the center contains fish
or shrimp, I admit that the first time I did not like it, but after giving it several chances I
loved it.
3. What was the most incredible activity you did on your trip? What did you do?
The most incredible activity I did on a trip was climbing Cerro Santa Ana in Guayaquil,
because it has 500 steps, it was hard for me to do it because of my heart problems, but
without a doubt, I enjoyed that experience and I would do it again.
4. What are the best things that have happened to you on a trip? Mention two.
The best thing that ever happened to me on a trip was:
A. Meeting new people, I have had the opportunity to meet people that I have connected
with, with a wonderful essence and so much to learn from them, from each trip, I have
been very happy to be able to meet people of value.
B. B. I have worked in incredible places thanks to my travels, that has been for me one
of the best things I have experienced.
5. What are the worst things that have happened to you on a trip? Mention two.
A. The worst thing that happened to me 1 month ago, was missing a flight, I needed to
be on time in my city for my work reasons, and I thought I had bought the right flight, but
I bought a flight in another schedule and I had to buy another more expensive
emergency flight to be able to travel on time.
B. Another terrible thing I lived through was being in the middle of an armed conflict on
the border of Ecuador and Colombia, I have never been so scared in my life, fortunately
I am fine now.
