2.2 After watching the video of your preference, answer the following questions according
to what you saw on the video and your personal information. Then, post your answers in
the forum.

1. Which is the tourist destination described in the video? Where is it located? The tourist
destination is La Guajira and is located north of Colombia

2. Have you ever been there? If you have, describe your experience. If you haven’t, would
you like to visit it someday? I have not visited the place, I would like to be able to visit it
soon since it is a very beautiful place

3. What are three of the most enjoyable things to do in that place? Tourism is the main
attraction, we can know its white beaches, knowing the Cabo de La Vela, Riohacha, Punta
Gallina and its beautiful landscapes, Kitesurf is one of the favorite sports.

4. According to what you saw on the video, what is something you didn't like about the
place? I did not like how the locals are being forgotten for their government and live in
begging, they do not have access to drinking water and not stable electricity, just for a few
hours.

a) Did you spend much money for your last trip? Was it a fair amount? No, on my last trip I
spent little money and I think it was enough to cover the expenses I had and be able to buy
the souvenirs from my friends and family.

b) Did you go sightseeing on your last trip? What was the most interesting place for you? I
was visiting Piscilago and I liked the aquarium too much, also some mammalian species
and the ostriches

c) What are the most visited places or tourist attractions in your city? The most visited
place is the Cerro de Monserrate, El museo nacional, the Museo del Oro, the Plaza de
Bolivar and the La Candelaria center which is an important historical, tourist and
educational center of the city.

d) What was the cheapest place you visited in your city? The cheapest place in my city is
undoubtedly the Museo del Oro and the Museo Quinta de Bolivar.

e) Have you ever worked with tourism? How was it? Yes and it was a very interesting
experience, you know people from different parts of the world and you know magnificent
places all the time
