Daniela: Hello Hiromi, how are you, I heard that you have been in Canada for the
last 2 months.
Hiromi: Hi Daniela! Yes, I have been in this beautiful country and it has been
amazing.
Daniela: That is great, has you met new friends there?
Hiromi: Yeah, I met Alicia and Luisa, they are from Brazil, they have been in this
country for more than 3 years and they have been my tourist guide for this time.
Daniela: What about the food? Did you like it?
Hiromi: Yes, I mean I don’t get used to yet but I really enjoy it, Canadians has
good food and you can try new tastes.
Daniela: I know you don’t like the winter season, so are you planning to come back
to Colombia soon?
Hiromi: I’ve been thinking a lot about that, I love Canada but I never feel
comfortable with the cold.
Daniela: Can you tell tourist places to visit? I’m planning to go there next year and
I want to know where to go.
Hiromi: Yes, they have the Niagara waterfalls we had been there and it’s
wonderful also you can visit the forest zone in Calgary providence.
Daniela: Oh thanks, I really hope that I can see you soon, have good vacations.
Hiromi: See you soon Daniela.

1. Did you spend much money on your last trip? Was it a fair amount?

My last trip was to “Paramo de Santurban”, I spent more than USD $450, It was an
amazing place and It was more than enough we had a good breakfast and lunch in a
restaurant close to the zone, we bought souvenirs and the bus ticket was in sale so we
had 2x1.

2. Have you ever met a new friend on a trip? How did it happen?

Yes, I’ve been in Medellin several times, in one of my trips I went to Poblado Zone and
there I met an American called Steven, he was nice and really funny, we talked about
different things and I saved his contact.

3. What was the cheapest place you visited in your city?

The cheapest place in the city was “El Chorro de Quevedo”, we had a good colorful
Chicha and we saw the beautiful graffiti walls.
4. Have you ever worked on tourism? What was the experience like?

Yes, I was a guide tour in Cartagena, I worked in the Historical downtown, It was and
amazing experience I met Americans, Europeans, and their cultures.

5. What was the most expensive place you visited in your city?

Yes I went to el Cielo Restaurant in Bogotá, It’s one of the most expensive places in the
city because It’s the only one with 2 Michelin starts.
