POSTER GUIDELINE

This guideline was made to assist the student in Advanced Biology (2nd smt),
Molecular Biology (4th smt) and Phytochemistry (6st smt) on poster assignment.
In preparing your poster, please note the following points:
 Poster boards should accommodate A0 size portrait posters: height 1189 mm
(46.8 inches), width 841 mm (33.1 inches). Poster should be made with light
background and advisable to use HD picture. Please ensure that your display will
fit within parameters above.
 Poster layout : portrait
Main title : 78 pt (bold, upper case)
Author : 60 pt (bold, title case)
Affiliation(s) : 48 pt (normal, title case)
Subheading : 36 pt (bold upper case)
Body of text : 24 pt (normal)
Smaller fonts may be used in citations.
 Your poster should include:
Title (project title), Authors (your name and department), Discussion (with
picture, table, graphic or charts), Conclusions and Bibliography.

Role of the poster presentation:

- Presenter will be given the opportunity to present a 5 minute summary.
- Answer questions about the assignment theme from the supervisior/advisor.
