AFRICAN CULTURE

The culture of Africa is varied and manifold, consisting of a

mixture of countries with various tribes that each have their own
unique characteristic from the continent of Africa. ... African
culture is expressed in its arts and crafts, folklore and religion,
clothing, cuisine, music and languages.
AFRICAN TRADITION
Although the majority of Africans are adherents of Christianity or
Islam, African people often combine the practice of
their traditional belief with the practice of Abrahamic religions.
The two Abrahamic religions are widespread across Africa,
though mostly concentrated in different areas.
AFRICAN BELIEFS
People are also encouraged to learn about and respect different
spiritual practices. This is part of democracy. The major faiths
practiced in South Africa are Christianity, Islam, Hinduism,
traditional African religions and Judaism. European and other
foreign settlers brought most of these religions.
The three main religious traditions—African traditional
religion, Christianity, andIslam—constitute the
triple religious heritage of the African continent.
