A Visit to Bird Park

Last Sunday, Priya and her family went to bird park in Prai. During the journey, she enjoyed the beautiful
scenery. Once reached, Priya’s father bought the tickets. After that, they walked into the bird park. They
saw many colorful birds. An hour later, they were very hungry. Then, they decided to stop for a while to
have lunch and rest. After lunch, Mr Sarves took them to watch bird show. The enjoyed watching the bird
show. They decided to leave as it was late in the afternoon too. It was an unforgettable experience for
them. Priya’s father promised to bring them again.

A GOOD DEED

One day, Fahmi and his friend, Arun decided to to go to the library. Fahmi and Arun are both
voracious readers. Suddenly, they saw an old lady. She was carrying a heavy basket. Arun realized that
the old lady was trying to cross the busy road. It could be unsafe. They both decided to help her. They
quickly helped the old lady to cross the road. Fahmi carried her basket while Arun helped her to cross the
road. She was so happy and thanked them for their good deeds. It was such a thoughtful act and felt
very proud of themselves. In short, one should always be helpful towards others.

A GOOD BOY

Haziq is a good boy. He goes to pray at the surau near his house everyday. One evening, after
he performed his prayers, he walked home. Suddenly, a van stopped by the roadside. Two men rushed
out and ran towards him. They looked very suspicious. Haziq was scared something bad might happen
so he ran back to the surau. The two men ran even faster towards him. Haziq quickly shouted for help as
loud as he could. The people who were still in the surau heard and came out to see what was happening.
They were shocked to see Haziq and quickly came to rescue him. When the two kidnappers saw the
crowd, they quickly ran back to the van and speed off. Haziq was relieved and thanked everyone who
came just in time to save him.

Kind Hearted Boy

One fine morning, Suresh and his bosom friend Yusof were cycling home . On the way,
they saw a beggar by the roadside. The beggar was sitting under a shady tree. Quickly they stopped
cycling and went near him. The beggar was shivering in the cold. He was hungry too. Immediately Suresh
took out his lunch box from his bag and gave to the beggar.
He ate the food so greedily. Once finished eating, the beggar thanked both of them for their
kindness. Suresh and Yusof were very glad because they had done a good job. They proud of
themselves as a proud of a peacock.

NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION

Last Monday, Rosmah’s school celebrated 54th year of National Day. Many activies were
planned for a week. The school was also beautifully decorated with flags and banners. It was a beautiful
sunny morning. Parents began together as early as 7,30am to join the celebration. All the teachers and
pupils assembled in the school hall. The cultural performances by the student, won the heart’s of parents
and given a standing ovation for the performances. Besides the show, there was also a food fair at the
school field. At 1.30 pm, the closing ceremony was held. The winners were beaming with pride. Rosmah
and her friends had an enjoyable time celebrating celebration. All of them felt so delighted although they
were tired.
