Dear Ladies,

Thank you for being on the Great IPad Adventure. As with any
adventure, there are exciting things to see and learn but also
challenges along the way. However, it’s comforting when you
know you are not alone.
Therefore, OJ and her team are very willing to help you step
by step along the way.
We will be sending you extra “how to” notes and helps for the
journey, so keep an eye on your emails. Add these to your
Manual.
Happy travelling.

INTRODUCTION to the IPAD

The OUTSIDE of the iPad is called the Hard Drive. You are
just holding an iPad with the features illustrated below.
The iPad Screen has lots of little pictures
called Icons or Apps which stands for Applications.
When you touch one of these you will go INSIDE the
iPad and this is called the
SOFT DRIVE.

For example - if you touch the Camera icon you no

longer are holding an iPad but a Camera.

Have a look on page 7 of your Manual to see the many benefits and uses of your iPad.
Some of the uses have been covered in the training.

The iPad is useful in two basic areas -

1. To have contact with the outside world.
2. To pursue personal interests.
