Avatar Movie Characterization

Avatar is film written and directed by James Cameron. He placed this story on a moon called
Pandora with alien characters. We know that most aliens are bad, but in the movie James
Cameron characterized good aliens and it was still effective because the viewers can still feel the
essence of the movie.

The movie would be completely done without these characters. Jake Sully was part of the
Avatar Program, in which humans remotely control /Human/Na'vi hybrids to safely navigate the
planet. Jake was originally assigned to gather intel that would help Colonel Quaritch discover the
Na'vi weaknesses so he could force them to leave Hometree or destroy it if necessary. Dr. Grace
Augustine is a scientist stationed on Pandora inhabited by a humanoid species called the Na'vi.
She is in charge of a program which places human 'pilots' in control of Avatars, which are
artifically grown bodies generated with both navi and human DNA. She studies the plants and
creatures of Pandora instead of using mineral (unobtanium) for wealth, which can be located at
the bottom of Hometree and she likes plant more than human. Trudy Chacon is one of RDA's
best combat pilots. A former Marine like Jake, Trudy develops an instant friendship with the new
arrival, and is happy to help ferry Jake, Augustine and Norm into their avatar missions. Though
loyal to her employers, Trudy will find her loyalties tested when Jake begins to turn against
RDA, and they step up their campaign against the Na'vi. Neytiri is the daughter of Na'vi clan
leaders Mo'at and Eytukan. She saved Jake Sully's life when he was being attacked by a pack of
viperwolves. After Jake and Neytiri met, she begins to love Jake and eventually Jake joins the
Na'vi to help Neytiri and the others save their tribe/village. Parker Sefridge is the "company
man" on Pandora, the Chief Administrator of RDA. He's in charge of all the mining operations
on the planet and determined not to let the 'natives' stand in his way- He'd like to use diplomacy -
largely because it looks better from a PR standpoint - but is prepared to use force if necessary.
Tsu'Tey is a member of the Omaticaya clan, and the direct successor of Eytukan as leader of the
tribe. He is a skilled direhorse and banshee rider, also known for his archery skills. Mora then the
other Na'vi, Tsu'Tey is immediately suspicious of Jake's arrival amongst his people.
Colonel Quaritch is industrious, brutal, and a firm believer of "strength through firepower",
Miles Quaritch is the head of RDA's on-planet security. A hardened war veteran, Quaritch
regards the Na'vi as little more than dangerous animals, and has no desire or inclination to learn
about them, seeing Augustine's research as both a waste of time and a means to an end.

Movies are not just for entertainment it also gives facts about life. Like in this movie avatar, it
shows the environmental issues we are facing right now. The following are the Environmental
issues shown in the film: Avatar is set on the exomoon Pandora, where a wealth of natural
resources is discovered. The humans are attempting to exploit these resources but are challenged
by the indigenous populations of Na’vi humanoid aliens.

The Pandora natives prevent humans from depleting their environment through mining. It's a plot
line that prompts viewers to think about the effects of construction, agriculture and, of course,
mining upon the land. The link to developing countries, where the impact of environmental
degradation can have a momentous effect on individuals who rely primarily upon natural
resources, is clear.

“The world has enough of everyone’s need but not of everyone’s greed.” The world has enough
of everyone’s needs but there are people who only think for their own sake they become greedy.
Others will get affected to their bad actions or being greedy and these people cannot enjoy the
resources.
