ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN LOCAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

 Provided technical assistance and support to the returning Sangguniang Kabataan.

 Created the LOCAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (LYDC), a multi-sectoral youth association
which will further more help in identifying and answering the needs, issues and the concerns of
the youths in Maasin City and encourage a more active participation from the youth Sector.
Currently our LYDC is composed of 12 Youth organizations and Youth serving organizations from
the City.
 Youth Congress in September.
 Will soon be formulating the city’s Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) once the Philippine
Youth Development Plan (PYDP) will be finished and downloaded to the LGUs.
