As of ST 400 Support Package 16, you can use the report
RAGS_DSWP_SERV_CONTENT_UPDATE to execute the SAP service
content update. As of ST 400 Support Package 18, you can also call
transaction AGS_UPDATE instead. As of ST400 Support Package 19, the
SAP service content update can also be selected in the SAP Engagement
and Service Delivery work center as a 'Common Task'. The link is
'Schedule content update'. You must then set the indicator for the batch job,
which schedules the report as in transaction AGS_UPDATE.
Procedure in SAP Solution Manager (ST lower than Support Package 19):
Start the report RAGS_DSWP_SERV_CONTENT_UPDATE (or, as of Enhancement
Package 1, transaction AGS_UPDATE).
Execute step 1: Check for new updates
If SAP provides relevant changes for the services to be delivered, you can proceed
with step 2.
Step 2: Download updates
Depending on the speed of the connection to the SAP backend, this step may take a
long time. This is the case, in particular, if the update is executed for the first time.
Step 3: Activate updates
After the successful download, the updates can be activated.
