Csr under environment

Natural resources become more scarce by the day and threats faced by ecosystem,
biodiversity are major environmental issues faced by us. Therefor Disney is committed
towards focusing on usage or natural resources wisely while protecting our planet because the
challenges we face require critical fundamental changes in the way our society uses natural
resources. Thus Disney is focused on long term environmental goals and changes such as
zero wastes, greenhouse gas emission to be reduced to zero and conserving water bodies or
resources.

Zero greenhouse emission- Disney’s strategy for achieving their goal of no greenhouse gas
consists of multiple steps such as avoiding emissions, inculcating efficient methods to reduce
emissions, using low carbon fuels instead of high carbon fuels, replacing remixing emissions
with certified carbon.

Disney’s resorts and theme parks have been following different methods to carry out their
day to day operations with the goal of abolishing net greenhouse gas emission since 2012.
Some example are - 1) Half of Disney land Paris’s electricity was bought from renewable
sources. 2) Walt Disney works resort used renewable diesel made by cooking oil for their bus
fleet.
