JACK THE RIPPER: UNSOLVED OR SOLVED CRIME?

SPEECH

Good morning, teacher. Good morning, classmates.

Today we would like to talk to you about a famous crime that happened a
century ago.
This incident is very popular because researchers and police officers haven’t
identified the criminal yet, but he is called Jack The Ripper because he sent
letters to authorities using that nickname whenever he killed his victims.
Definitely, he was the best known serial murderer in history and this is an
unsolved mystery that became a legend.
The crimes took place in London in 1888 when a man killed five prostitutes in
a street called Whitechapel. (Here are the pictures of the women that were
killed)
Each one of them was murdered in different days and the killer didn’t leave
evidence. He killed the women cutting their throat and ripping their
abdomen. Then after when the police arrived, he got away with his offense.
A lot of people thought that Jack The Ripper was many men, (I mean) he had
colleagues, but in reality, he acted alone.
These crimes became very popular around the world. (Here are some
newspaper that gave information about Jack The Ripper.
SUSPECT
Some people had in mind some suspects. One of them was Lewis Carroll, a
writer who was author of 'Alice in Wonderland'. Other people thought that
Jack The Ripper was the Prince Albert Victor, the Queen Victoria’s grandson.
WAS JACK THE RIPPER IDENTIFIED?
However, typically some researchers say that they have found the real
identity of Jack The Ripper. They made DNA test from a coat found nexto to
a one of the victims. It was bought for them in an auction. Then, they
determined that Jack The Ripper was in reality Aaron Kosminski, a Polish who
migrated to London.
