Reaction Paper about the Movie: The King’s Speech

After I watched the movie, The King's Speech, coordinated by Tom Hooper, which was
discharged in September 6, 2010 in the U.S. The characters inside the film that utilized authority
thinking are King George VI/Bertie (Colin Firth), Queen Elizabeth (Helena Bonham Carter),
Lionel (Geoffrey Rush) and King George V (Michael Gambon).
Ruler George VI demonstrated authority when he played the part from his sibling who
chose to advance down as King to wed the lady he adored. He was unwilling to end up noticeably
the King on account of his stammer and his concern in talking in public. The general population
had no trust in him on account of his stammer that can't be inspire his people in the country. Thus,
with the assistance of his therapist, Lionel, King George VI begins to rehearse his discourse, he
almost gives up several times, but since he cherished his nation and had an awareness of other's
expectations to lead it, he never surrendered, and this demonstrates the nature of administration in
him. At last, King George could make his live discourse consummately that was communicated
around the world; this demonstrated his actual quality as a great leader.
Having witnessed the whole film, I can say that I am blessed. I am blessed for I have gained
not only a good time watching, but also good values that I can live with for the rest of my Journey.
The Kings Speech is a work of inspiration because it promotes an individual’s right to be heard.
We are not gifted with a voice for nothing. I have a voice so I can tell the world of my thoughts
and feelings, so I can begin a change thin me, within the people around me, and within my country.
The movie tells me not to waste a lovely gift such as the voice. Through speaking, one can
touch the hearts of others, and it will be passed on from person to person, then from generation to
generation. We are now searching for an answer to help us how to create a change. Who knows?
Maybe that thing that we have been searching for has always been with us, Just like how Bertie
found out the answer to his problem. All we need to do is to listen to what is within us and follow
its voice.
