On a farm lived four good friends. A donkey, a dog, a cat and a cock. They all
loved to sing. “Why don‟t we all go to Bremen?” said the donkey one day. It is a
good place for musicians.
His friends agreed. By sunset, the four friends reached Bremen. They were
hungry. They came across an old farmhouse.
Inside the house they saw a band of thieves. They were having a feast. All over
the floor were gold coins and jewels.
