Here are some facts and pictures on gangs:
The gangs in the Victorian area were deadly and usually had a trademark
weapon and appearance. Also, it is quite interesting some o the gangs had
their own areas called turf and controlled some political votes

Also another major event or thing was the amendment of the poor
law in 1834 it was also known as ‘the new poor law’ its aim was to change the
poor law on a fundamental level some of the changes included segregations of
types of poor also the forced divorce and separation of man and wife.

Jacob’s island is an infamous rookery(slum) it was described as ‘the capital of


cholera’ however in the 2850’s the area was a site of redevelopment with
warehouses being built and many houses pulled down.
