DEFYING LIMITATIONS
Apparently it really helped me even more grow as a leader and surpass my own
expectation to myself. I learned the necessity of the saying I should be two steps a head in
every instances because in life there are really unpredictable circumstances that could
happen, I learned how to process things needed before having and executing an activity.
Also, it harnesses my ability to take charge and be responsible in delegating task to my co-
officer and members and managing time as well. Aside from that, I learned how to adjust
when it comes with the disadvantages of the organization because as we all know a socio
civic organization sometimes have minimal participants in an event or activity but I
understand their situation that they needed to attend to their mother organization
however it doesn't make me stop in executing a successful event. In addition, I also learn
the real essence of serving where you're not expecting in return but the feelings of being
fulfilled just to know that your event is successful and to see those smile of every
participants takes away all the exhaustion in your body. As an officer we tend to exert our
efforts in brainstorming, managing and conducting every activity just to be more
entertaining, informative and helpful to
I can tell a leader is a Vincentian student if he/she is integrating all the values of
Saint Vincent de Paul. A leader must acquire not just being competent but also a leader
who have a heart in helping people being a charitable leader. In addition a leader must
possess the 5 core values in his or her personality. Being a Vincentian student leader must
have some advocacy and stands that could really help to be more aware and responsible
to his society. Also, he should know how to manage people even despite all the diverse
personality a every person, a leader must know how to unite people and cooperate in
every situation. A leader must also possess the teachings of Saint Vincent de Paul simply
by applying the 3c’s and the core values of SVP. Lastly a leader must be futuristic must
sustain the development of their service by giving some events or services that could
really be beneficial not just today but also to their future. All in all I can Proudly say that
I’m one of the Vincentian Student Leader of Adamson University and I’m really grateful to
be part of this family to learn all leadership with the teachings of Saint Vincent de Paul ,
because it’s one of the most thing that I could be proud of even when I finish my study
here in Adamson University because that what’s makes us different to other people and
to other student leader.
