OPEXCON 2019 INFORMATION

We are inviting all improvement and innovation leaders to participate in OPEXCON Project
Competition 2019. The prestigious award for operational excellence and innovation in various
industrial sectors in Indonesia.

The participant will present their project in front of the jury. Awarding ceremony will be held
during Operational Conference & Award 2019 (OPEXCON19) in Jakarta, 7 November
2019. The winner will gain positive recognition in front of the Top Management from across
industries.

PROJECT CRITERIA

 Applying PDCA/QCC Methodology, Six Sigma, Lean/kaizen, Design Thinking, Agile,

Automation or Digital Technology, and any other improvement/innovation methodology
are allowed
 The project’s implementation should be completed by 31 July 2019
 The project has never been submitted at previous OPEXCON Project Competition
 No limitation of number of project submissions for each company

SCORING CRITERIA

1. Methodology and Analysis

o Explaining project selection process which align with Organization’s KPI and
objectives
o Following a complete methodology of PDCA/QCC Methodology, Six Sigma,
Lean/kaizen, Design Thinking, Agile, Automation or Digital Technology, and any
other improvement/innovation methodology
o Performing a root cause analysis to address the core problem.
2. Project Scale & Complexity
o Explaining the scale of Project Improvement , Change Management & Team
Management
3. Innovative Solution
o An innovative solutions to optimize the organization’s production process and/or
business process. The solution also should be implemented in other area or
business line.
4. Impact of Improvement
o Impact to Internal Organization
o Impact to External Organization & Customer

Project Submission Deadline: Wednesday, 31 July 2019

Final Presentation: Jakarta, 10-12 September 2019
