of the parallelogram.
15. Construct a rectangle ABCD, in which AB = 6.3 cm and BC = 4.5 cm. Measure its
diagonals.
16. ABCD is a parallelogram and AP and CQ are perpendiculars from vertices A and C on the
diagonal BD, respectively.

19. An insurance company selected 1600 drivers at random in a particular city to find a
relationship between age and number of accidents.
The data obtained are given in the following table.
Age of drivers Number of accidents (in one year)
(in years)
0 1 2 3 More than 3
18-25 320 125 75 45 30
25-40 400 45 50 15 10
40-45 150 85 13 8 10
Above 55 150 25 17 20 7
Find the number of drivers
(i) In the age of 25-40 yr having more than 2 accidents in the year.
(ii) Whose ages are above 40 yr and having accidents more than 1 but less than 3.
20. The lengths of 62 leaves of a plant are measured in millimetres and the data is represented
in the following table.
Length Number of leaves
118-126 8
