Steps for Firmware uploading in Duagon PCB

1. Establish connection between Duagon PCB on VIU card and computer with the
proper cable (10-pole header on PCB side and 9-pole female Sub-D on Computer
side)
2. Open hyper terminal in computer.
3. Hyper terminal settings are as follows:
- baud rate : 115200
- data bits :8
- stop bits :1
- parity : none
- Flow control : none
4. Turn-on power supply to VIU card. While turning on power supply to VIU card
PRESS and HOLD enter key in terminal application on computer.
5. If Duagon board is good then prompt “uMON” will appear in terminal application.
6. Now enter command “xmodem –d –F mvbsrv.elf –f E” (take care of space)
7. Now transfer the file “d-005542-011057.elf” by terminal application using Xmodem
protocol (standard or 1K)
8. After successful download, prompt uMON will appear in terminal application.

Note: While uploading the firmware remove all connectors from VIU, except power supply
connector (15A20-X5)
