RINL Industrial Internship Project Based Training PDF
Dear Sir/Madam,
And it has become a safety concern for all the stakeholders at different levels in the plant and is
causing inconvenience for proper planning and execution of their training effectively. In view of this
and due to the following constrains VSP management has decided to reduce the number of students’
intake to a manageable level without compromising the safety and quality of training.
a) Safety: VSP has doubled its capacity leading to increase in transportation of raw materials
and products, poisonous gases dust and fumes etc. The steel plant operations are
inherently hazardous and the doubling of capacity has increased the probability of
untoward incidents in the plant.
b) Facilities: VSP is experiencing great difficulties in accommodating such a large number of
students in class rooms and the canteen , washroom, and arranging transport etc
c) Logistics: Since VSP does not have it’s won transport system the students are crowding on
the roads at different junctions outside as well as in side the plant asking for lifts thereby
causing an un- safety conditions to themselves, to employees and the management as well.
d) Availability of projects and guides: Availability of Guides is increasingly becoming difficult
due to increase in production and maintenance related activities. And as a result the
number of projects available in VSP has come down.
Hence the Colleges/ Institutions / Universities and all others who are recommending students
are hereby requested to cooperate with VSP Management to serve them better by :-
3) distributing sending of the students for training to VSP throughout the year in order to avoid
rush during summer i.e., May-June.
4) advising the students to compulsorily utilize the transport arranged on payment basis and
attend training with safety shoes and safety helmet, and follow all the safety precautions
during their training at VSP.
