My due respect to our school principal ________, to our department heads from the different areas

who are around, and of course my colleagues, my fellow teachers here in _______good afternoon.

Let me begin by giving you a warm welcome to this half day start of the year school-based
conference for SY 2019-2020. So, without further ado let us start the program, everybody is
requested to stand for the singing of the national anthem to be led by ________our MAPEH
Master Teacher I, followed by the invocation to be led by _________ from the EsP
department.
After our Brigada Eskwela, we really cannot deny the reality that on Monday June 3, 2019 will
be the start of our class. This conference helps to set our mind that we really need to start the
year right to achieve another fruitful year for us and for our students. For according to Nelson
Mandela, “Education is the powerful weapon, which you can use to change the world.”
We, teachers should be well-motivated to teach our students. We should learn to love them…….
Even the unlovable ones. Isn’t it challenging? Yes. It is really challenging, that’s why teaching is
considered as the noblest profession among all professions.

Roy Barnes, one of the American Politicians said…… “But the fact is, no matter how good the
teacher, how small the class, how focused on quality education the school may be none of this
matters if we ignore the individual needs of our students.”
