Dearly beloved Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Abbie P.

Barnes, Energetic
Principal of Esperanza Elementary School, Mr. Erwin B. Jaron, Faculty and Staff of
Esperanza Elementary School, members of the graduating class of 2020, beloved
parents, guests, ladies and gentlemen, a very wonderful afternoon to all of you.

Our grade six pupils are now to move up to the next level of their intellectual
voyage. Seven years must have made you better individuals, advanced for your age as
your teachers are very diligent and committed in their job of delivering the
competencies that needed to be learned by all of you. They and you did a very good
job. Furthermore, our dear parents are very commendable in their efforts of being a
solid rock for their children. Indeed, the adage to educate a child is a shared
responsibility is fulfilled in Esperanza Elementary School. How about a round of
applause for all of you?

Elementary completers, we at our end tried to do our utmost best to give you the
kind of support that your school needs. We tried to be sensitive to your needs. Now, I
am so happy to see you completing elementary education. This is indeed a milestone.

Elementary completers, you shall now be in High School. Next month on August
24, you will embark on a new journey. High School education is different from
elementary education as lessons are becoming more and more complex. Secondary
education needs clearer focus, my dear completers. You have different teachers for
different subjects. So, please be more responsible.

For parents, the new normal is a new life for all of us. The education system has
laid plans for learning to continue despite the pandemic. Impossible it may seem to the
pessimists but everything is doable when we all work together. The home, the school,
and the community will be working closer than ever in order to implement the learning
continuity plan that each school has crafted. In God we trust that these goals will be
achieved upang ang de-kalidad na edukasyon ay maisulong para sa kinabukasan ng
bayan.

So let us all be glad that amidst the social and health concerns, we are all
celebrating for the success of our elementary completers. Let us thank those who
deserve our gratitude. Remember, dear children, we are not alone. We are not an
island. We need the help of others maybe not all the time but at certain points in our
lives there are others who make things easy for us – others who are happy seeing us
grow and reach for our dreams.

Again, congratulations and may you be blessed always.
