MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

The DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION represented herein by BIENVENIDO L. GUEVARRA JR.,

PhD, the School Principal of the DAMPOL 2ND NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, with principal office
address at DAMPOL 2ND A, PULILAN, BULACAN, hereinafter referred to as “DepED”;
-and-
_____________________(NAME OF PARTNER)____________, a ________(description of partner, e.g.,
“a professional teacher” or “volunteer teacher) with home address at ___________________(home
address)________________, Philippines who wants to serve as Reading Facilitator for
______________(NAME OF SCHOOL)____________, _________(Address of School)_______________,
hereinafter referred to as “Mr./Ms. _____(family name______”;

WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, Deped Memorandum number _____, series of ________, entitled, 2022 Brigada
Eskwela Implementing Guidelines.

WHEREAS, DEPED, being responsible in ensuring the effective implementation of

its BE, acknowledges the significance of support from government and non- government
partners ;
WHEREAS, ___(MR./MS. __________) has expressed desire to support the 2022 BRIGADA
ESKWELA PROGRAM of the school, and agrees to abide by the Implementing Guidelines set by
DEPED;
NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises and the terms and
conditions herein set forth, the parties hereby agree as follows:

Section 1 Description of the Partnership

The partnership between the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION and ___(NAME OF
PARTNER)____ which aims to synergize efforts on the implementation of Dampol 2 nd National
High School BRIGADA ESKWELA PROGRAM

Section 2 Rights and Obligations of the Concerned Parties

2.1 DepED shall:

2.1.1 Delegate the school to supervise the adherence to the policy guidance provided by
DEPED and the provided directions to ensure the proper implementation of the
Program;
2.1.2 Coordinate with local partners in the conduct of activities in relation to Brigada
Eskwela through the school head and the school Brigada Eskwela Coordinator;
2.1.3 Recognize the number of hours rendered by the partner during the conduct of
the activities, which conforms to the inclusive dates stipulated in Section 4:
Terms.
2.1.4 Facilitate the evaluation of the implementation of the Program;

2.2 (Mr./Ms.__________________________) shall:

2.2.1 Conduct voluntary work activities set by the DEPED, disseminated by the
Schools Division Office;
2.2.2 Conform with the health standards set by the local IATF;

 2.2.3 adhere to the policy guidance provided and directions set by the Central Office through
the supervision of the Schools Division Office for proper implementation of the program
provided;

2.2.4 Serve in voluntary basis.

Section 3 Scope of the Partnership

This agreement is limited to the conduct of Brigada Eskwela activities of the school and
shall be done in given schedule.
Section 4 Terms
This Agreement shall be effective from (inclusive date/s) with the
possibility of extension and without prejudice to Section 3.
Section 5 Separability Clause. Should any part of this Agreement be judicially
declared null and void, such nullity shall not affect the validity of the
remaining provisions hereof.
Section 6 Breach of Contract. The violation or omission of any of the provisions of this
Agreement shall be ground for the cancellation or rescission of the same
without need for legal or court action.
Section 7 Amendments. This agreement may be revised, amended or modified only
through a written instrument duly executed and signed by all parties.
