BASED SCIENCE AUDIO & VIDEO LESSONS FOR GRADES 3 TO 12

1. In compliance to Regional Memorandum No. 86, series of 2020, re: Provision of


Learning Resources for Quarters 3 and 4 and ensure compliance to standards in the
process of developing learning resource materials, this Office through the
Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) will conduct a Three-Day Training-
Workshop on the Crafting of LAS-Based Science Audio and Video Lessons for Grades
3 to 12 on April 7-9, 2021 at a venue to be announced later.

2. This activity aims to capacitate participants in crafting LAS-based audio and


video lessons covering Quarters 3 and 4 for Grades 3 to 12 to make learning easy
and fun even without the assistance of learning partners at home.

3. The participants are selected key teachers in the elementary and secondary (JHS
and SHS). (Please see attached list).

4. The training-workshop is a live-in activity and participants are expected to report


to the venue on Day 0, April 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. A simple opening program will
commence at 4:00 p.m. The first meal is a snack served before the opening program
and the last meal is snack of day 3.

5. The IATF policies on prevention and mitigation of the COVID-19 pandemic shall
be strictly observed during the training. Hence, participants are advised to wear
facemask and face shield at all times.

5. All participants shall receive 24 hours credit for their Continuous Professional
Development.

6. Participants are advised to bring soft copies of LAS for Quarters 3 and 4 and
other reference materials such as Regional DLPs, SLMs, textbooks, laptop and
extension wires.
7. Accommodation and meals of the participants, supplies, materials shall be
charged to Division HRTD funds while travel expenses shall be charged against
division/school MOOE, SSES and STE funds subject to the usual accounting and
auditing rules and regulations.

8. Widest dissemination of this Memorandum is earnestly desired.
