Topic: Life Balance is About Priorities

Introduction I. Attention Getter

“Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the
air. You name them- work, family, health, friends and spirit… and you’re
keeping all of these in the air.”(an excerpt)

II. Relate to audience

A pleasant day to each and every one. I am honored and humbled to stand here
in front of you to share with you my personal stories and experiences as a front
liner in order to have a balanced life amidst the pandemic that we are facing
today.

Thesis statement: I know that everyone can relate to me if I said that setting up
priorities in this trying times is a struggle especially to us, front liners.

III. Establish Credibility

(You may or may not introduce yourself)

I. 1st Main point: Our work is a rubber ball. Family, health, friends and
Body spirit- are made of glass.

Sub-point 1: If you drop the ball, it will bounce back. But the other
four balls, if you drop one of these they will be damaged or even
shattered.

II. 2nd Main point: Strive for balance in your life.

Sub-point 1: Don’t undermine your worth by comparing yourself

with others.
Sub-point 2: Don’t set your goals by what other people deem
important.
Sub-point 3: Don’t take for granted the things closest to your heart.
Sub-point 4: Don’t let your life slip through your fingers by living in
the past or for the future.

III. 3rd Main point: To have proper life balance we must get our priorities in
order.

Sub-point 1 : Work, while an important and necessary facet of life,

should never take priority of family, health, relationship and faith.

Sub-point 2 : Work should care for and enhance, not detract from, all
these other areas of life.

Having a healthy-work life balance is not a one-shot deal. It is a continuous process

as family, interest, and work life change. Periodically examine your priorities – and
Conclusion make changes if necessary- to make sure that you are on track.
